Marketing experts have found that consumers using tablets are more likely to buy online than smartphone users. Research presented by a focus group at the Mobile Insider Summit revealed that while smartphones were responsible for most mobile traffic during the 2011 Christmas period, it was predominantly tablet users who were parting with their cash. “It makes sense” said Dan Israel from Sapient/Nitro. “You have a larger canvas for shopping and buying.” For the full story, visit MediaPost.
